About The Acupuncture System

Many of you have inquired about the acupuncture system, and exactly how body "knows" what it needs, via muscle testing.  Actually, muscle testing is also known as applied kinesiology, bio-kinesiology, and clinical contact reflex analysis. These formats simply tap into what is known as the Chinese acupuncture system, which is one of the two oldest medical systems in the world.  

The Chinese acupuncture system is over 4,000 years old, and is still practiced in China today, with a great deal of accuracy.  The premise of this system is based entirely around  12 paired meridian energy channels that circulate vital life force to specific organs and glands.

If there is a "short circuit" in any of these meridian  channels, nutritive, electromagnetic energy is blocked to specific organs and glands. If this is prolonged, illness and disease will eventually prevail.  This is why to properly correct physical issue, we must look first at the acupuncture system for the answers, as everything begins in the energy field, then filters down into the physical body.

Symptoms are your body's way of alerting you of the "short circuit", disrupting the body's natural  flow of  "chi" or vital life force. This "short" can eventually weaken organs or glands, suppress immune function, and create the terrain for virus, bacteria, fungus, heavy metals, parasites, or cancer producing cells.

Illness can be prevented when these energy circuits are open, and flowing harmoniously. Think of the food you eat eventually breaking down into glucose, then firing up the cells with ATP to produce energy.  The more live, enzyme based food like fruit, whole grains, sprouts, and colorful vegetables you eat, the more energy you produce. 

Early on, the Chinese recognized that this energy produced by the body, also contained an intelligence.  When there was disruption in the energy flow, the organs and glands seemed "confused" and "disoriented" about how perform in healthy function and form.  When energy flow was restored, the organs and glands "remembered" what to do, and healthy function was restored. 

When a practitioner utilizes the acupuncture system to investigate what the body needs to achieve energy balance, the body responds with a strong, stiffening of the muscles in the forearm when it is given something the body "deems" as non-toxic and healthy. The reverse is true if one is tested with a substance, like sugar, which is a universal poison to the body.  If you muscle test someone holding a packet of sugar, the forearm muscles will immediately go weak.

This also holds true for negative, upsetting or rigid thought patterns.  If you are not in "the flow" emotionally, you will test weak.  Think of a negative experience you have had while someone muscle tests you, and you will notice your arm weakens the second you are tested. Conversely, have someone muscle test you after you shift your thoughts to a very happy, positive experience in your life, and you will find your arm locks.

Some refer to this intelligence as God, expressing through us. Realize this energy field, which surrounds us, contains an intelligence. What ever you put inside that energy field will either be accepted or rejected, based on whether the substance being tested,  strengthens or weakens the body's vital life force.
